What a call tracking setup includes
From choosing the platform and sizing the pool to tags in the CRM and a report where calls sit next to form enquiries. The call tracking account is registered to your company.
Platform choice and pool sizing
We look at traffic, seasonality and how much time passes between a visit and a call. That gives the number of lines required and the session length to set.
Dynamic number substitution
Each session sees its own number, so the call reaches the campaign, ad and keyword. Substitution is applied in the header, the footer and every block where a number appears.
Static numbers for offline
Separate numbers for the maps profile, print advertising, signage or partner placements. A cheaper way to compare offline channels against each other.
Call recording and tags
We set up call tags: qualified, unqualified, repeat, spam. Without them a report shows the number of conversations rather than enquiries from new customers.
Source handover to the CRM
A call creates or enriches a deal together with its channel, campaign and keyword. The deal status then returns to the report and gives the cost per customer from the phone.
GA4 and Google Ads integration
Qualified calls are sent to GA4 as events and imported as conversions into the ad accounts, so automated bidding strategies can see the phone channel.

How we work
Call tracking turns into an expensive toy easily. We keep it a tool for budget decisions.
The pool is sized from data
We take the size from real traffic and session length, not from the platform's price list. A pool that is too small corrupts the data; one that is too large is merely expensive.
Every number gets substituted
One missed number in the footer or a branch card sends part of the calls past the tracking. Before launch we check every place the number is visible.
Recording is announced
We add an automated notice at the start of the call and a clause in the privacy policy. The legal side belongs with your lawyer; we cover the technical one.

Why calls have to be counted separately
While the phone goes unmeasured, advertising looks more expensive than it is and call-heavy channels look weak. That is the usual reason campaigns that were bringing customers get switched off, while budget moves to whatever simply has better configured forms.
The call tracking account is yours
The platform is registered to your company. Numbers, call history and recordings stay with you if our work together ends.
Substitution is verified by hand
After launch we place calls ourselves from different sources and compare them with what the system logged. An automatic «connected» status guarantees nothing.
Qualified calls, not all calls
The report counts enquiries from new customers. Repeat calls, wrong numbers and spam are filtered out by tags, otherwise cost per enquiry comes out understated.
How we implement call tracking
The order matters: first the pool calculation and the tagging agreement, then the site. Otherwise the first month of data has to be thrown away.
