Agribusiness

Advertising and content for makers and distributors of farm machinery, seed and crop protection: a plan built around the season, the dealer network and closed deals.

What work on an agricultural project includes

We take the channels together with the season calendar and the agreements with the dealer network. Accounts, tags and the audiences we build stay yours.

A season map for the year

The year is broken into demand phases: model selection, purchasing, field work, off-season. Each phase gets its own campaigns, queries and acceptable cost per enquiry.

Search on models and competitors

An agronomist does not search for «a tractor» but for a model index, a working width or an active ingredient. We build the keyword set from your catalogue and from the machines your customers trade in.

Deals counted, not forms

CRM statuses go back into the ad platforms through offline conversion import. Optimisation runs toward signed contracts rather than the monthly count of enquiries.

Lead handover rules for dealers

Routing by region, a response deadline, a status returned to the manufacturer's report. The agreement is fixed before launch, otherwise enquiries settle between two companies.

Content an agronomist will read

Model comparisons, application rates explained, field video, payback per hectare. Material for the selection phase, when the purchase is still six months away.

Support for fairs and field days

Geotargeting around the venue, collecting the visitor audience, campaigns before and after the event. An event closes the deal but does not create the shortlist.

Our clients’ results

We build long-term partnerships — and the numbers speak for themselves: our average client relationship lasts 5 years, and our partners' financial results grow quarter after quarter.

How we work

In agriculture a mistake is expensive not because of the cost per click but because of the window you miss: the season does not come round again until next year.

The calendar outranks the budget

First we agree what switches on and when, then we count the sums. Money spent in the wrong phase cannot be recovered anywhere.

We do not bid against your own dealers

Brand queries and regions are divided by a rule agreed with the network. Otherwise the manufacturer and the dealer keep raising each other's price on the same query.

We are clear about the limits of the channel

Digital brings enquiries and shapes the shortlist. The deal is closed by your manager or your dealer — a part of the funnel we do not influence.

Why a sector plan behaves differently

The universal recipe of «launch search, add remarketing» breaks in two places in agriculture: on seasonality, where demand multiplies within a week, and on the dealer network, where the sale happens outside your CRM. Both are settled before the campaigns are built, not afterwards.

01

Contracts counted, not enquiries

In a sector with a cycle measured in months, the number of forms says almost nothing. The report is built around deals passed back from the CRM and from the dealer network.

02

The off-season is not a pause

The period without sales is exactly when the shortlist is formed. We reduce the budget and change the campaign types, but we do not take the channel to zero.

03

The history of your seasons stays with you

Accounts, tags and collected audiences are registered to your company. Data from past seasons is the most valuable asset in this sector, and it does not leave with the contractor.

How we run an agricultural project

We start from the sales calendar and the agreements with the network, not from the ad account. Campaigns are configured to fit them, not the other way round.

01

Reading the season and the funnel

We look at sales by month and region, the length of the cycle and the dealers' share of revenue. The campaign calendar for the year comes out of that.

02

The lead agreement

We fix with the network who receives an enquiry, within what time, and what comes back into the report. Until that is agreed there is nothing to measure results against.

03

Launch by phase

We start with the phase the market is in and prepare the next one in advance. Budget moves between phases instead of being divided equally across months.

04

Reporting by region and dealer

Every month we show enquiries and deals broken down by region and point of sale. That data drives adjustments to geo, product mix and bids.

Frequently asked questions about agricultural marketing

What manufacturers and distributors ask before the work starts.

01

When should advertising start before the season?

The reference point is the selection phase, not the purchasing phase. For machinery the shortlist forms months before payment; for seed and crop protection the window is shorter. We take the exact dates from your own sales history rather than from general advice.

02

Our dealers do the selling. Why advertise as the manufacturer?

So that your model makes it into the comparison at all. The dealer works with someone who has already arrived; the manufacturer acts earlier, while the farm is still building a shortlist. From there the point is not to take the enquiry away from the network but to hand it over with its source attached.

03

Can we advertise only at the peak of the season?

You can, and enquiries will come. But at the peak you compete for the attention of people who have already decided, so cost per enquiry is the highest it gets all year. We suggest keeping part of the budget for the selection phase, and we show the difference in numbers after the first full season.

04

Will manufacturer and dealer campaigns compete for the same queries?

They will, unless it is agreed in advance. We separate them by query type and region: the manufacturer holds model and category queries, the dealer takes local ones with a city and service terms. The rule is settled before launch, otherwise you raise your own price.

05

Can crop protection products be advertised?

The category goes through separate review, and some wording has to be removed from ads and landing pages. Before launch we check platform policy against your specific range and say plainly if certain items will not pass.

06

How long until the first deals?

It depends on what you sell. Parts and small machinery take weeks; complex machines take months, and sometimes the decision moves to the next season. That is exactly why we measure CRM statuses and not only enquiries.

07

Does Facebook and Instagram advertising work for agronomists?

It works at the stage where demand is not yet put into words: field video, comparisons, invitations to a field day, audience building. For selling machinery directly it is weaker than search, so in the plan it sits at the introduction stage rather than at the close.

08

Can we order a one-off campaign for a single trade fair?

No, not as a standalone job. A two-week campaign gathers too little data, and its result cannot be told apart from the usual seasonal spike. Event support is something we do inside the yearly plan.

Digital marketing for agribusiness brands

Agribusiness marketing: season, dealer, long decision

Agriculture does not allow advertising to run at an even pace. A combine or a crop protection programme is decided months before payment, the purchase goes through a dealer rather than the manufacturer, and in peak weeks the audience is in the field, not online. Adcore has worked with manufacturers and distributors since 2014; CLAAS is among the agency's clients.

Seasonality built into the settings

The year splits into phases: shortlist forming, purchasing, field work, off-season. Each gets its own campaigns, queries and acceptable cost per enquiry. In Google Ads we apply seasonality adjustments so the algorithm does not hold bids back exactly when demand jumps within a week.

Long cycles and offline conversion import

An enquiry becomes a deal months later, and the ad account never sees it. We push CRM statuses back into Google Ads through offline conversion import, so the algorithm learns from signed contracts rather than submitted forms.

Leads and the dealer network

The sharpest question here is who owns the enquiry. Before launch we fix the rule: how a lead is routed by region, how many hours the dealer has to pick it up, which status comes back to the manufacturer. Without it, advertising fills someone else's funnel with no feedback.

Four things we hear in almost every agricultural brief

Each has a grain of truth, and each leads to the budget being split the wrong way.

What is often saidHow it actually works
«our machines are bought at the trade fair»the fair closes the deal, but the shortlist was built months earlier in search and video
«the internet does not matter in farming, people call us»they do call, but the number comes from search; without call tracking that path is invisible in the report
«we switch everything off in summer»what drops is readiness to sign, not attention; that phase is for content and audience building
«the lead belongs to the dealer»it does, but with no handover rule and no status coming back the manufacturer never learns the deal value

Regions and a narrow audience

The audience here is counted in farms, not in millions of users. We work with lists rather than broad interests: Customer Match on the client and dealer base, geotargeting by region and by radius around service points, queries built on model indexes. Reporting is regional too: what pays off in the Poltava region often fails in the west, where farms are a different size.

When this service is not worth ordering

  • enquiries take weeks to process in high season — the bottleneck is sales, not traffic;
  • you expect a complex machine to sell on the first click, with no manager involved;
  • the network will not return deal statuses — there is then nothing to measure;
  • you want a one-off launch for a single event: two weeks yields neither data nor payback.

How this page differs from our other services

Search advertising, paid social, SEO and analytics have pages of their own; those describe the mechanics of each channel. This page is about assembling them into one calendar: the phases of the season, the dealer network, and a B2B cycle where months sit between an enquiry and the money. What gets ordered here is a yearly plan, not a single channel.
