Small and medium business

Advertising, website and analytics for small companies: one channel taken to a result instead of four launched halfway.
Project order

What a small company usually needs

Not the agency's full service list, but four or five things that cover most of the work.

One traffic channel

We pick the one where demand already exists in your sector and take it to a predictable cost per enquiry. Expansion comes after that.

FocusOne channel

A landing page

One page that answers the customer's questions and offers a convenient way to make contact. Often cheaper and faster than a full site.

LandingConversion

Analytics with call tracking

Without it there is no way to tell which channel works. It goes in before any budget is spent.

GA4Call tracking

A Google Maps listing

For a local business this is the cheapest source of enquiries and often the largest. It needs no advertising.

Google MapsLocal search

Simple reports

What was spent, how many enquiries, what a customer costs. Without charts nobody asked for.

ReportingTransparency

Expansion on evidence

A second channel is added once the first reaches stable numbers, not alongside it from day one.

Scaling

Our clients’ results

We build long-term partnerships — and the numbers speak for themselves: our average client relationship lasts 5 years, and our partners' financial results grow quarter after quarter.

How we work

We do not sell the full service list to a company that needs two of them. And we do not take on a project where the budget cannot gather statistics.

One channel to a result

Instead of splitting a small budget across four directions, we take one to a predictable cost per enquiry.

Honest about budget

If the money is too little to gather data we say so at the brief. That is cheaper for both sides.

The access stays yours

Site, domain, ad accounts and analytics are registered to your company. You lose nothing if we part ways.

Request a consultation or audit

Tell us about your task and we will suggest a solution and show how it adds up in numbers. The consultation is free, with no obligations.

Why one team costs less than three contractors

When one supplier builds the site, a second runs the ads and a third sets up analytics, the small company itself has to act as project manager. Each shows their part as a success while the combined figure interests nobody. In an agency those roles share one loop and one party answers for the result.

01

No passing the blame

There is no standoff about whether the traffic or the site is at fault, because we do both.

02

You do not manage the process yourself

You do not spend your own time coordinating suppliers — that is the hidden cost of cheap contractors.

03

You can start small

The full set is not required. We often begin with one channel and analytics, adding the rest as the need appears.

How we start on a small budget

The goal of the first two months is not scale but a comprehensible cost per enquiry in at least one channel.

01

A conversation about numbers

What a customer costs now, what you are prepared to pay, how many enquiries you handle in a week. Without that there is nothing to plan from.

02

Choosing the first channel

We check whether demand exists in search. If it does, we start there; if not, with social.

03

Measurement and launch

We set up analytics with call tracking, launch one channel and gather statistics.

04

The expansion decision

Once cost per enquiry is predictable we decide together: scale what works or add a second channel.

Frequently asked questions from small businesses

The questions that come up most often in a first conversation.

01

What is the minimum budget that makes sense?

It depends on the sector: where a click costs pennies not much is needed, while in finance or property the threshold is several times higher. At the brief we calculate that line for your category and say plainly if it is still too early.

02

Where do we start with nothing at all?

With whether demand exists in search. If it does — search advertising and a landing page. If not — social. For a local business the first step is almost always the Google Maps listing, and it is free.

03

Would a freelancer not be cheaper?

On the invoice, yes. On the result, often not. The difference is less about skill than about scope: a freelancer closes one stage and you finish the rest yourself, or never finish it.

04

Do we need a website or is an Instagram profile enough?

For testing demand a profile is enough. But advertising to a profile converts worse than to a page with an explanation and a form, and a profile gathers no search traffic at all.

05

How long until the first enquiries?

From search and social advertising — days. From SEO — months. So on a small budget we start with paid channels and add SEO once there is something funding the wait.

06

Do you take individual tasks or only full service?

Individual tasks are fine: an audit, analytics setup, a single landing page. Full service makes sense when there is something to run in full.

07

What if there are enquiries but no sales?

Listen to the calls. In a small business the commonest cause is response time: an enquiry answered the next day almost always belongs to someone else by then.

08

We are in a small town. Is that harder?

Often it is easier: less competition, a lower cost per click, and a Google Maps listing reaches visibility faster than in a large city.

Marketing for small and medium business

Marketing for small business: how not to spread the budget thin

The main problem for a small company is not that the money is limited but that it gets divided across every channel at once. A little search advertising, a little paid social, a little SEO, a page on Instagram — and no single direction ever gathers enough momentum to tell you anything. One channel taken to a working state almost always outperforms four launched halfway.

Where to start

The order depends on whether demand exists in search. If people already look for your service by name, start there: search advertising brings enquiries within days and SEO makes the result durable. If there is no demand because the product is new or its name is not obvious, paid social comes first — it creates demand rather than capturing it.

What the wrong contractor costs

What it seemsHow it turns out
a cheap freelancer saves budgeta campaign without analytics: the spend is visible, the result is not
a friend will build the site in a weeka page that can neither be edited nor promoted
launching ads is enoughenquiries arrive, but nobody answers them within a day
let us do everything at onceno channel gathered enough data to optimise

The minimum working set

For most small companies it looks the same: a page that answers the customer's questions and offers a convenient way to get in touch; analytics configured with call tracking; one traffic channel taken to a predictable cost per enquiry; and a person who responds within the hour rather than the next day.

When you do not need an agency yet

We will say it plainly: if your monthly advertising budget is smaller than the cost of a few enquiries in your sector, the campaign will never gather data, and paying for management on top makes no sense. In that situation it is more honest to start on your own or with individual consultations, and to come back when the budget can support statistics. We say this at the brief, not three months in.

What we take on

A small business usually has nobody in-house to run marketing. We cover it end to end: from the website and analytics to advertising and reporting that shows cost per customer. One team instead of three contractors explaining the problem by pointing at each other.
