TravelGo app
TravelGo is a flight booking app concept: flight search, airline price comparison, seat selection, and a boarding pass right on the phone. We designed what the traveler's complete journey should look like: from "where are we flying?" to the barcode at the gate.
Task
Design a UI/UX concept for a mobile flight booking app. The main challenge of such products is the multi-step flow (search, flight selection, passengers, seats, payment) where users often get lost and abandon the booking. The flow had to be designed so that every step feels simple and the whole process takes minimal time.
What was done
- Designed flight search with one way, round trip, and multicity modes, plus cabin class and passenger count selection.
- Developed a convenient date calendar with two months visible and highlighted departure and return dates.
- Worked out the search results: comparing flights from different airlines with prices, travel time, and a quick path to booking.
- Designed an interactive cabin map with seat selection: reserved seats, emergency exits, and selected seats are color-coded.
- Developed the payment flow: saved cards, support for Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and PayPal, and a flight details confirmation screen before charging.
- Created a boarding pass screen with a barcode and download to the phone.
- Designed onboarding and authentication: sign-in via email or phone, Google account, password recovery, and a traveler profile with passport details.
- Added a hot offers section with payment system discounts and push communication via a built-in inbox.
