Greg K.SEO and analytics at Adcore · LinkedInA website in Ukraine costs from UAH 9,000 for a landing page, from UAH 20,000 for a corporate site and from UAH 18,000 for a simple online store. These are the lowest prices on public price lists as of November 2026, and a real project often ends up costing several times more. Below you’ll find a price snapshot, a calculator and an explanation of why the same brief can bring back quotes 25 times apart.
How much does a website cost in Ukraine: prices by type
On November 6, 2026, we went through 10 price lists from Ukrainian studios and services and wrote down the “from” prices. Price lists in hryvnias are shown separately from those in dollars and euros, because a foreign-currency price usually signals a different level of work.
| Site type | Price lists in hryvnias, from | Price lists in foreign currency, from | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landing page | UAH 9,000–28,000 | UAH 23,000–61,000 | from a few days to 3 weeks |
| Brochure site | UAH 9,500–35,000 | UAH 41,000–77,000 | 2–3 weeks |
| Corporate site | UAH 20,000–60,000 | UAH 68,000–179,000 | from 2 weeks to 2 months |
| Online store | UAH 18,000–100,000 | UAH 114,000–265,000 | from 2 weeks to 4 months |
National Bank of Ukraine rates on November 6: UAH 45.44 to the dollar, UAH 51.04 to the euro. Promotions and outdated price lists are excluded. We don’t name the studios: prices change, and advertising or criticizing colleagues isn’t our job.
“From” means the simplest option of that type. See how far apart even the starting prices are:

The scale is logarithmic so the cheap price lists don’t merge into a single point. The rightmost points are the price lists in euros.
Why the same website can cost UAH 16,000 or UAH 400,000
Imagine you send the same brief to three places: “company website, 10 pages, inquiry form.” A freelancer replies with one paragraph. A studio sends several pages. An agency sends a whole document.

The same brief, three different answers. The numbers are in the table below.
None of them is necessarily ripping you off. They’re counting different hours at different rates, because they’re selling different work:
| Who | Hours × rate | Total | What these hours usually include |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freelancer | 40 × UAH 400 | UAH 16,000 | A ready-made theme, your copy, revisions as agreed |
| Studio | 120 × UAH 750 | UAH 90,000 | Custom designs, front-end coding, basic SEO, testing, a manager |
| Large agency | 250 × UAH 1,600 | UAH 400,000 | Research, prototypes, copy, integrations, analytics, a contract with a guarantee |
A hypothetical example. The rates fall within market estimates: UAH 400–1,200 an hour for freelancers, 600–1,800 for small studios, 1,500–3,000 for large agencies.
The rate didn’t come out of thin air either. According to DOU, a Ukrainian developer community, the median developer in Ukraine earned $3,500 a month after tax in the summer of 2026, and a UI/UX designer $2,475. Divide a developer’s salary by working hours and you get about UAH 1,000 an hour, before the employer’s taxes, a manager and an office. Developers who build websites can earn less than the median, but you get the order of magnitude.
So a UAH 9,000 website buys about nine hours of that specialist’s time. That’s enough to install a template and paste in your copy. It’s not enough to work out what will actually convince your customer.

How much a landing page, brochure site, corporate site and online store cost
How much a landing page, or one-page site, costs
One page for one product or service, usually built for ad campaigns. The cheap version gets you a template with your copy; the pricier one adds research into your offer and a design built around it. We cover what it is and when it hurts more than it helps in a separate article: what a landing page is.
How much a brochure site costs
A few pages: about the company, services, contacts. That’s enough for a customer to check you out after a call. For search it’s usually not enough: to show up for each service, you need a page for each one.
How much a corporate site costs
Separate service pages, team, case studies, a blog, often several languages. What drives the price here is the number of different templates, not pages: a hundred identical cards are cheaper than ten different screens. Every language adds work; in the calculator we add 20% for each.
How much an online store costs
A catalog, a cart, payment, delivery. Integrations move the price most: accounting, CRM, delivery services. There’s also a way to start without development, a platform: Horoshop, a Ukrainian store platform, charges UAH 288 to 1,728 a month, paid annually, depending on the number of products.
How much a WordPress site costs
WordPress itself is free, and a popular ready-made theme costs about $60–70. The rest of the money goes to people, so prices match the table above: fewer hours on a template, more on custom designs.
How much a Tilda site costs
You can build a simple site on the free plan. A custom domain and the full set of blocks require a paid one: UAH 200 or 400 a month, paid annually. That’s the platform’s fee; a designer’s work is billed separately.
Website builder, platform or custom development: what to choose
You don’t always need to commission a website. If you’re testing demand for a new service, a page put together on a builder in one evening can be smarter than a UAH 60,000 custom build.
| Option | Cost | Who it suits | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website builder | From UAH 0 to 400 a month | Testing demand, solo experts, a single page for ads | Complex logic and a large page structure |
| Store platform | UAH 288–1,728 a month | A store without custom development | Features are limited by the platform, and you pay every month as long as the store runs |
| WordPress and a ready-made theme | About $60–70 for the theme, plus labor | A services site, a blog, a small store | Speed and security depend on plugins and updates |
| Custom development | See the table above | Several languages, integrations, non-standard logic | The most expensive and the slowest |
How much it costs to keep a website running
How much a website costs every month
The minimum is about UAH 280: a .com.ua domain and the most basic hosting. If someone maintains the site, add at least UAH 1,000 a month.
| Cost item | Per year | Note |
|---|---|---|
| .com.ua domain | UAH 738 | .ua costs UAH 3,528, .com UAH 939 |
| Hosting | UAH 2,635–6,835 | From one site to ten, paid annually |
| SSL certificate | From UAH 0 | A free one is enough for most sites |
| Maintenance | From UAH 12,000 | Updates, backups, minor edits |
There’s one more cost people often forget: a website doesn’t bring in customers on its own. Someone has to fill it with content and promote it. We’ve worked out what that costs in a separate article: how much SEO costs.
How not to overpay: what to check in a quote
- The domain and hosting are registered in your name. If they’re in the studio’s name, your business’s web address doesn’t belong to you.
- Hours or a list of tasks are spelled out. A single lump sum with no breakdown gives you nothing to compare.
- The mobile version is included in the price. In one of the price lists we checked, it’s a UAH 3,000 add-on for budget packages.
- It’s clear who writes the copy and takes the photos. That’s exactly where websites most often stall.
- The number of revision rounds is in writing. Otherwise every change can turn into a separate invoice.
- You get full access after handover. Admin panel, code, hosting, analytics.
- If you already have a site, the quote includes redirects. Without carrying over the URLs, the new version can lose the old one’s rankings.
At Adcore we charge by the hour, from $25: a simple solution starts at $500, and a large project with integrations and several languages runs to tens of thousands of dollars. Once we have your brief, we prepare an estimate with a list of tasks and timelines. Website development at Adcore.
Frequently asked questions about website cost
How much does a website cost on average?
For a small company website built by a studio, we estimate a realistic budget of UAH 40,000–230,000: the low end for a ready-made theme, the high end for custom designs.
Can you make a website for free?
Yes, on website builders’ free plans. A custom domain and the full feature set cost money.
How long does it take to build a website?
From a few days for a landing page on a template to four months for a store. What usually blows the deadline isn’t development but copy and approvals.
How can you build a website cheaply?
Use a builder or a ready-made theme, write the copy yourself and start with a few pages. Don’t skimp on your own domain or the mobile version.
Can you build a website yourself?
Yes, if it’s a few pages on a builder. A store with payment and delivery is easier to launch on a ready-made platform than to put together yourself.
