FOOTBALL COMPETITION app
LiveScore is a football app design concept: live match scores, league tables, player statistics, and a news feed in one place. The user scenario here is specific: a fan opens the app dozens of times a day for 20-30 seconds, so the core value of the interface is instant access to the score with no extra steps.
Task
Design a UI/UX concept for a fan app that keeps the user on top of the entire football day: from live scores to deep stats on an individual player. The challenge is data density: tables, numbers, charts, and news must be readable at a glance on a small screen without turning into a solid wall of figures.
What was done
- Designed the home screen with live matches: score, match minute, goal scorers, and a carousel of parallel games.
- Developed the match screen with full statistics: shots, ball possession, passes and accuracy, fouls, cards, offsides, and corners compared side by side for both teams.
- Created league tables with color coding for Champions League and Europa League zones.
- Worked out the player profile: rating, appearances, goals and assists, a season form chart, and a role-based skill diagram.
- Designed top scorer rankings and team squads with player cards.
- Developed a football news feed with a full-screen reading mode and bookmarks for saving articles.
- Designed the match schedule, event push notifications, and sign-in via email, Google, and Facebook.
- Maintained a consistent dark visual style with gradients in the spirit of Champions League night broadcasts.
