High-load fintech platform for a pawnshop network with real-time synchronization between a client-facing SPA, internal accounting systems, and external services. The frontend is built on React +
Next.js with server-side rendering, the backend - REST API on Laravel. A single interface aggregates CRM branch data, POS inventory, SMS authentication, geolocation, precious metal market quotes, and a full-featured
personal account with loan contract management. Delivered as a PWA with install-to-device capability.
Task
A pawnshop network with dozens of branches across Ukraine operated on fragmented internal systems with no unified digital entry point for customers. The goal was to build a platform that aggregates data from
CRM, POS, and the accounting system in real time - and provides customers with full self-service: online item valuation, branch search with geolocation, SMS login, and loan contract management through a personal account.
A separate requirement was a native-like mobile experience without app store distribution.
What was done
- SPA on React + Next.js with SSR for indexing and fast initial render
- REST API backend on Laravel with modular architecture and multi-level caching
- PWA with service worker, manifest, and home screen install support
- Two-way CRM integration - synchronization of branch network, schedules, contracts
- POS system connection for real-time valuation parameters and inventory updates
- SMS OTP authentication with reCAPTCHA and session control
- Personal account - contracts, profile, loyalty program status
- Geolocation module with nearest branch detection and route building
- Interactive branch map with filters by city, district, schedule, branch number
- Gold and silver valuation calculator by weight, fineness, and loan term
- Automatic market feed for precious metal quotes
- Tech valuation category catalog with dynamic minimum thresholds
- Loyalty program engine with discount tiers and personalized conditions
- Responsive interface with mobile UX for account and map
