FJØRD is a residential complex that needed more than a standard brochure website - it required a fast, interactive tool for selling apartments. The developer wanted the site to work without delays or page reloads: instant transitions between sections, interactive apartment selection on a building schematic, and smooth performance on any device. Traditional server rendering couldn't meet these requirements - the project called for SPA architecture with server-side indexing for search engines.
Task
Build the residential complex website on React + Next.js (frontend) with Yii2 (backend REST API). Integrate Flatris for interactive apartment selection, connect CRM for automated lead processing, and implement a multilingual interface. Ensure server-side rendering for SEO alongside a single-page application experience for visitors.
What was done
  • Built the frontend on React + Next.js with SSR: pages are server-rendered for search engines while functioning as an SPA in the browser - transitions between sections happen instantly without reloading.
  • Developed a REST API on Yii2 for managing content, building sections, floor plans, and processing inquiries through a unified admin panel.
  • Integrated Flatris for interactive apartment selection: buyers choose a section and floor on a visual building schematic, view the layout, area, and price, and submit an inquiry for a specific unit.
  • Implemented automatic lead submission to the developer's CRM with the selected apartment, traffic source, and UTM tags for advertising channel analytics.
  • Built a multilingual interface with separate URLs and hreflang markup for correct indexing of each language version.
  • Optimized frontend performance: code splitting, lazy loading of components, link prefetching on hover - page transition times reduced to milliseconds.
  • Delivered responsive layouts with mobile UX adapted for interacting with the Flatris floor plan selector on touch devices.
Result
FJØRD received a website that feels more like a mobile app than a typical developer's page in terms of speed and fluidity. React + Next.js delivered instant navigation without sacrificing SEO indexing, Flatris turned apartment selection into an interactive experience instead of browsing static PDFs, and CRM integration ensured every inquiry reaches the sales team with full context - which apartment, where the buyer came from, and which ad channel brought them.
