Muehldorfer app
Mühldorfer is a German manufacturer of premium bedding with over 100 years of history: down duvets, pillows, and accessories for homes and hotels. The brand operates in the luxury segment, so the mobile app had to match the product level: restrained design, brand colors, and a sense of quality on every screen.
Task
Develop a mobile e-commerce app for iOS and Android with a complete purchase cycle: from first launch to order confirmation. The app had to convey the brand's premium feel, make buying high-end products simple and intuitive on a phone, and work as one system with the client's offline sales. Timeline: 3 months.
What was done
- Built the app with React Native + Expo using a single codebase for iOS and Android.
- Developed the backend and admin panel on Laravel: catalog, order, and content management.
- Integrated the Ready2order POS system: synchronization of products, stock levels, and orders between the app and the client's inventory management.
- Connected online payments via Stripe and PayPal with saved cards for repeat purchases.
- Implemented onboarding with collection selection and authentication: sign-up, social login (Google, Facebook, Twitter), password recovery.
- Developed a catalog with filtering by collections (Eiderdown, Royal, Premium, Classic), search, and voice input.
- Created a product page with a photo gallery, size selection, description, and a review system with ratings.
- Implemented the full purchase cycle: cart, wishlist, saved delivery addresses, card management, and an order confirmation screen.
- Added a personal account: order history, profile settings, dark mode.
