What store development includes

From catalogue structure to the link with accounting and advertising. A store has to look right and also report order data correctly.

Catalogue structure

Categories built around buyer queries rather than warehouse nomenclature. It decides whether a person finds the product — and whether Google does.

Filters and search

Filtering by attributes that affect choice, with clean URLs. Search with suggestions and tolerance for typos.

FiltersSearch

Product page

Photos, specifications, availability, delivery, reviews and related items. We remove doubt before the visitor leaves to compare elsewhere.

Product pageCross-sell

Cart and checkout

Checkout on one screen, without mandatory registration, with address autocomplete and a choice of delivery and payment.

Integrations

Accounting system, delivery services, payment providers and CRM. Stock and prices sync automatically.

Ecommerce tracking

The full event chain with order value configured. Without it advertising optimises blind.

Our clients’ results

We build long-term partnerships — and the numbers speak for themselves: our average client relationship lasts 5 years, and our partners' financial results grow quarter after quarter.

How we work

We do not carry the old store's mistakes into the new one. Before development we look at which categories and filters buyers actually used.

Templates, not individual pages

Category and product pages must work for any item, including the one added a year from now.

Orders are tested end to end

Before launch we complete a purchase in full: payment, delivery, email, CRM record and the analytics event.

Catalogue speed is watched

A category page with a hundred products must load as fast as the homepage.

Why build a store with the people who run the ads

A store without correct ecommerce tracking cannot be advertised properly: algorithms do not see purchases and optimise at random. We configure data collection during development, so campaigns start on working data rather than a month after launch.

01

Order data is reported correctly

Events with order value and contents are configured before the store opens, not after the first advertising spend.

02

A feed for shopping campaigns

We prepare the product feed for Merchant Center from the start, with correct fields and categories.

03

A catalogue search can see

Categories and filters with clean URLs can gather traffic on their own, without paying for every click.

How we build a store

Catalogue and purchase scenario first, design second. Reworking category structure on a finished store is expensive.

01

Catalogue and demand analysis

We review the product range, the competition and how buyers search for your goods. The output is a category and filter structure.

02

Prototypes of key pages

Category, product, cart, checkout. Logic is approved before design while changes are cheap.

03

Design and front-end

We design templates rather than individual pages: category, product and checkout must work for any item.

04

Integrations, analytics, launch

We connect accounting, delivery and payments, configure ecommerce tracking, test an order end to end and open the store.

Frequently asked questions about store development

The questions that come up most often before we start.

01

How much does an online store cost?

It depends on catalogue size, the number of integrations and whether data must be imported. We fix the sum once the catalogue and accounting are described.

02

Which platform do you build on?

We choose to fit the catalogue and the load, from off-the-shelf systems to a custom build. The requirement stays the same: content and products editable without a developer.

03

Can products be migrated from our old store?

Yes, we import from an export file or directly from the database, cleaning duplicates and normalising attributes along the way.

04

Do you integrate with accounting and delivery services?

Yes, that is a standard part of the work. The list of integrations is agreed at the brief and affects both timing and price.

05

Will the store be ready for advertising?

Yes: ecommerce tracking and the product feed for shopping campaigns are part of development.

06

How long does development take?

A small store from eight weeks. A catalogue with thousands of SKUs and complex integrations takes longer; we quote after the accounting system is described.

07

Who fills the catalogue?

We can, via import, or you can, via the admin panel. Manual population of a large catalogue is quoted separately.

08

What about support after launch?

A warranty period for defects is included. Beyond that it is by agreement: growth, new sections, performance monitoring.

Online store design and development

E-commerce development: a catalogue that sells

A store differs from a website in that every extra step between the product and the payment costs money. So we start not with the homepage design but with the catalogue: how someone finds the right item among hundreds, what they see on the product page and how many fields they fill in at checkout. Adcore has built e-commerce since 2014, with clothing, electronics, grocery and industrial catalogues in the portfolio.

Catalogue and filters

Category structure follows how buyers search, not the warehouse nomenclature. Filters cover the attributes that genuinely affect choice, with clean URLs so filter pages can collect search traffic.

Product page

Photos, specifications, availability, delivery, reviews, related items. The job of the page is to remove the doubt a person still has in front of the buy button.

Cart and checkout

Every extra field reduces the number of orders. We build checkout on a single screen, with address autocomplete and payment in place.

Integrations

Accounting system, delivery services, payment providers, CRM. Stock and prices sync automatically — an item that is out of stock should not sit in the catalogue as available.

What usually breaks sales in a store

SymptomCause
visitors arrive, orders do nota long checkout and mandatory registration
buyers never reach the product pagefilters do not work, or categories are named in warehouse language
a high return ratethe product page lacks specifications and real photographs
advertising does not pay backecommerce tracking is missing, so algorithms learn from false data

E-commerce analytics

We configure the full event chain: product view, add to cart, checkout start, purchase with order value and contents. This is not for reports but for the advertising to work: without correct data Google and Meta optimise campaigns toward random actions.

What building a store costs

The price depends on catalogue size, the number of integrations and whether data must be imported from an existing system. A hundred-item store and a catalogue with thousands of SKUs and complex pricing are different amounts of work. The sum is fixed in the contract once the catalogue and accounting are described.

Who we have worked with

Agency projects include clothing, electronics and grocery stores, along with catalogues for PepsiCo, Silpo, Kärcher and CLAAS. Cases are collected in the portfolio.
