SEO and SERM

We manage what a client sees on Google for your company name: displacing negatives, working with reviews and platforms, reporting transparently.

What reputation work includes

From an audit of the results page to a system for collecting reviews. We work on what a person sees before the first call.

Brand SERP audit

We review the first two pages of Google for the company name, the brand and executives' names, recording exactly what shapes the impression.

Displacing negatives

We create and strengthen material capable of outranking the problem results. We only pursue removal where platform rules are broken.

Review management

Replies to negative reviews on behalf of the company, work on the causes of complaints, and a system for collecting reviews from satisfied clients.

Directory listings

Google Business, industry catalogues and review platforms: correct data, photographs, categories and current contact details.

Mention monitoring

We track new brand mentions and flag problem ones immediately rather than in a monthly report.

Reporting on the results page

We record the state of page one at the start and show the change by period. Progress is visible in screenshots, not descriptions.

Our clients’ results

We build long-term partnerships — and the numbers speak for themselves: our average client relationship lasts 5 years, and our partners' financial results grow quarter after quarter.

Reviews

We build long-term partnerships — and the numbers speak for themselves: our average client relationship lasts 5 years, and our partners' financial results grow quarter after quarter.

How we work

We do not write fake reviews and we do not buy them. Platforms and readers both spot them, and the consequences cost more than the original problem.

Genuine reviews only

We build a process where satisfied clients leave reviews themselves. Purchased reviews are detected by platforms and readers alike.

A reply beats a deletion

A calm public response to a complaint often works better than its disappearance. It shows how the company behaves in conflict.

Progress shown in screenshots

The state of the results page before and after is the only honest way to prove results in this work.

Why SERM is done by the SEO team

Displacing negatives is the same discipline as promotion, only the target page is not yours. You need to understand why one result outranks another, how quickly platforms are indexed and which of them carry weight in Google. Without that, the work reduces to complaints that lead nowhere.

01

Measured before and after

The state of the results page is captured in screenshots at the start. Progress is visible rather than asserted.

02

No promises to remove the unremovable

We separate what can be taken down under the rules from what has to be displaced. Different timelines, different costs.

03

Working on the cause, not only the symptom

If complaints repeat, the cheapest fix is to correct what people complain about. We say so directly.

How we run SERM

First we record the state, then we change it. Without a starting point there is no way to show what improved.

01

Audit and baseline

We capture the state of page one for the key brand queries. That is the baseline for all later reporting.

02

Action plan

We separate material that can be removed under platform rules from material that has to be displaced, each with its own approach and timeline.

03

Platform work

Complaints where there are grounds, replies to reviews, updated listings and publication on platforms that rank well.

04

Review collection and monitoring

We set up a process where satisfied clients leave reviews regularly, and we watch for new mentions.

Frequently asked questions about SERM

The questions that come up most often at a first meeting.

01

Can a negative review be deleted?

Only if it breaks the platform's rules: defamation, personal data, an obvious fake. A genuine if unpleasant review has to be answered and displaced with new material.

02

How soon do results appear?

Usually six to eight weeks. Review work shows effect sooner; displacing articles from the top takes longer.

03

Do you write reviews for us?

No. We build a process where genuine clients leave them. Purchased reviews are visible to platforms and readers alike.

04

What if there are no reviews at all?

That is also a problem: an empty results page offers no confirmation. We start by collecting the first genuine reviews and filling in directory listings.

05

Which platforms do you work with?

Those that rank for your brand. The list is drawn up after the audit and differs by sector.

06

How do you demonstrate results?

With screenshots of page one at the start and at every reporting date. You can see which positions changed and what displaced them.

07

Do we need SERM if there is no negative content?

Often yes — to occupy the brand results with your own material before something else appears there.

08

What does it cost?

It depends on the volume of problem material and the number of platforms. We quote after the SERP audit.

SERM: company reputation in Google results

SERM: managing reputation in search results

Before contacting a company, people search for its name on Google. What they see on the first page influences the decision more than any advertising: a single negative review at the top can stop a deal you had all but closed. SERM is the work of shaping how your brand looks in search results for its own name.

What the work covers

  • an audit of results for the company name, the brand and executives' names;
  • displacing negative material with positive and neutral content;
  • work with review platforms and directory listings;
  • systematic collection of genuine reviews from satisfied clients;
  • monitoring of mentions and quick response to new ones.

How SERM differs from deleting reviews

Only content that breaks a platform's rules can be removed: defamation, personal data, a fake posted by a competitor. The rest — subjective but genuine reviews — cannot be taken down, and should not be. A profile without a single negative mention raises more doubt than an honest picture with replies from the company.

SituationWhat works
a fake review from a competitora complaint to the platform with evidence
a genuine customer complainta public reply and a resolved problem
an old negative article ranking highdisplacement by stronger material
no reviews at allsystematic collection from real clients

Why an empty result page is also a problem

If searching your company name returns only your own site and a few random directories, there is no outside confirmation. A populated result page — a Google Business listing, industry profiles, media mentions, reviews with replies — is itself evidence that the company is real and active.

How long it takes

The first changes in results usually appear after six to eight weeks: platforms need time to index and new material needs time to gain weight. Review work moves faster; displacing articles from the top takes longer.
