Performance marketing

A way of working where the agency answers for cost per lead and payback rather than click volume. Advertising, analytics and CRM in one team.

What the performance model includes

Channels, measurement and funnel work in one loop. Each element on its own delivers less than all of them together.

A metric instead of a channel

We agree the number the work is judged by: cost per lead, per customer or payback. Channels are then chosen to serve it, not the other way round.

Search and social

Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, display. Budget is split between them by the actual cost of a result rather than by habit.

Measurement before launch

Events, goals and the CRM handover are configured first. Without them performance is just ordinary advertising.

Funnel work

We look past the lead: how many reach payment, how fast enquiries are handled, why deals are lost. Growth often hides here.

Hypothesis testing

Creatives, landing pages, audiences and offers are tested in sequence. One test, one variable — otherwise the result cannot be explained.

A/BHypotheses

Reporting in money

The report shows cost per lead and per deal by channel, not impressions and clicks. The dashboard refreshes itself and the access is yours.

DashboardReporting

Our clients’ results

We build long-term partnerships — and the numbers speak for themselves: our average client relationship lasts 5 years, and our partners' financial results grow quarter after quarter.

Reviews

We build long-term partnerships — and the numbers speak for themselves: our average client relationship lasts 5 years, and our partners' financial results grow quarter after quarter.

How we work

We do not take projects where the result cannot be measured: without that, performance is a word in a presentation.

Measurement is a condition, not an option

If there is no analytics, setting it up is the first stage. Otherwise there is nothing to compare and nothing to prove.

One variable at a time

Changing creative, landing page and bid at once means never learning what worked. We test in sequence.

We say the inconvenient thing

If the problem lies in how enquiries are handled or in the product itself, we will say so. Spending budget on a channel that cannot fix it is better not started.

Request a consultation or audit

Tell us about your task and we will suggest a solution and show how it adds up in numbers. The consultation is free, with no obligations.

Why performance cannot be outsourced in pieces

When one company runs the ads, a second sets up analytics and a third builds the site, nobody answers for the final number: each shows their own part as a success. Performance requires that whoever owns the result can change any element of the funnel, from a bid to the copy on a landing page.

01

One team, one accountability

Advertising, analytics, design and development in-house. No standoff between two contractors over whether the traffic or the site is at fault.

02

Data reconciled with sales

Marketing figures are matched against the CRM. Where they diverge we resolve it before drawing conclusions.

03

We say when a channel does not pay back

We do not keep budget in a channel for the sake of billable work. If it does not perform in your sector, we propose moving it.

How we build performance work

The order matters: without the first two steps the rest turns into guesswork.

01

Agree the metric

Together we define what counts as a result and how it is calculated, and agree what makes a lead qualified.

02

Set up measurement

Events, goals and the CRM handover are configured before the first ad impression.

03

Launch and gather data

We start with controllable formats, test hypotheses in sequence and review weekly.

04

Reallocate budget

Once cost per result by channel is clear, money moves to where it pays back. Then the next cycle of hypotheses begins.

Frequently asked questions about performance marketing

The questions that come up most often at a first meeting.

01

Do you work for a share of sales?

The payment model is discussed project by project. But any result-linked scheme requires correct measurement — otherwise the parties end up arguing about the numbers rather than the work.

02

How does performance differ from search advertising?

Search is a channel. Performance is a model in which the channel is chosen to serve a metric. Performance often includes search but is not limited to it.

03

Do you guarantee cost per lead?

Before the first month of data, no — and no honest agency does. After the testing cycle we give a range based on your own statistics rather than market averages.

04

We have no analytics. Is that a problem?

It is the first stage of the work. We set up measurement, connect the CRM and only then start spending budget.

05

Do you work with our CRM?

With systems that have an API or ready integrations. If the system is closed we look for an intermediate solution and discuss it after the audit.

06

What if there are leads but no sales?

We find where it breaks: lead quality, response time, the call script or the offer itself. That is part of performance work, not «outside our scope».

07

How long until results are stable?

The first month is data, the second brings first conclusions and a budget shift. A stable cost per lead usually appears in the third.

08

Do the accounts stay ours?

Always. Campaign history, audiences and data belong to you regardless of how long we work together.

Performance marketing for business

Performance marketing: accountable for the metric, not the channel

Performance is not a separate advertising tool but a way of working. The difference from the classic approach is simple: instead of «we configured the campaigns and delivered traffic», you get accountability for a specific number — cost per lead, cost per customer or return on investment. Channels come second: if the numbers do not add up in search, we say so and suggest moving the budget rather than defending our own part of the work.

The metrics we work to

  • CPL — cost per lead. The baseline most projects start from.
  • CPO / CAC — cost per order and cost of an acquired customer, net of rejections.
  • ROMI — return on marketing investment, once CRM data flows back into the report.
  • LTV — for businesses with repeat purchases, where the first deal can even run at a loss.

What the model requires to work at all

Performance is impossible without measurement. That is a technical condition rather than a preference: if the system cannot see deals, there is nothing to optimise and nothing to prove the result with.

What is neededWhy
Correct events and goalsalgorithms learn from real conversions, not from clicks
Advertising linked to the CRMit shows which campaigns produced deals and which produced empty leads
An agreed definition of a leadotherwise marketing and sales count different numbers and argue
A workable budgetbelow a certain threshold a campaign never gathers enough data to optimise

How this differs from «just advertising»

An agency selling a channel has an interest in keeping the budget inside that channel. A performance team works with the whole funnel and has the standing to say the inconvenient thing: that leads are cheap but never reach payment; that the problem is not traffic but how long calls take to answer; that a particular channel does not pay back in your sector and is better dropped.

Realistic expectations

The first month is data collection. Forecasting cost per lead before the first testing cycle would be invention: auction prices, seasonality and competitors' moves are outside our control. What we do fix in the contract is the scope of work, transparency of data and your access to every account.

Who we have worked with

Agency clients include Hyundai, Heineken, Kärcher, CLAAS, Hilti, PepsiCo, Silpo and Materia Medica, along with developers and clinic networks. Cases are collected in the portfolio.
